Since the exhibition is one of the best ways to generate direct feedback from users, we usually arrange a small Q&A gaming event at our booth and try to see how they responds to our questions.

This year, we prepared a "Warmth level test" to see how sensitive everyone is to heat and cold. The main objective is to understand our user's daily lifestyle and recommend them different types of heating products.

Here is the game board that we have designed for this event.

Wellcare warmth level test game board

The game starts with these 5 basic questions:

  1. Are you troubled with cold hands and feet in winter?

  2. Do you sit for 8 hours or longer at work?

  3. Do you feel uncomfortable due to muscle soreness?

  4. Do you prefer to watch a movie at home than going outdoors?

  5. Do you like to read more than exercise?

The game is very simple, if your answer is "Yes", move towards the left. If your answer is "No", then move to your right.

Upon answering these questions, you will get one of the following result:

  • High level of warmth
  • Medium level of warmth
  • Light level of warmth

The goal of this event is to actually help people gain awareness of keeping yourself warm. There is no right or wrong answer to this game. We were able to gather a lot of precious information during this fun event.

It seems like 60% of all people who participated in the game has the problem of cold feet. In Chinese culture, people say foot is our body's second heart. When you keep your feet warm, your body automatically becomes warmer. Keep our bodies warm ultimately leads to a better night of sleep!

Why use electric blanket when there are heaters?

This is a common question, many people wonder why we should use an electric blanket when we have the heaters turned on.

The best temperature for sleeping is around 18.5°C (65°F), AND 18.5°C~ 20.5°C is the most ideal temperature for your room. This means when our heater is turned on, the room temperature becomes too high and is not ideal for our body.

The best way to create the perfect sleeping environment is to still turn on your heater, but turn the temperature down to 18.5°C~ 20.5°C. Then, you should use an electric underblanket to heat up your bed before going to sleep. Finally, a product like Wellcare's electric underblanket will automatically shut down after 2 hours. You will still feel warm throughout the night, and the temperature won't become too hot or too stuffy.

Speak about the optimal temperature for sleeping, we have created a FREE Ebook that shares knowledge on how to create the best sleeping environment. You can click on the link below to download this FREE Ebook!

New call-to-action

What does the consumer think about Wellcare's products?

During the M&O fair, we also exhibited Wellcare's unique 4D DWF technology. If you haven't heard about 4D DWF technology, it is a new innovation solely designed by Wellcare.

Electric blanket has been invented for more than 100 years, however, people are still unable to resolve the problem of stuffiness and overheating. We seldom feel too hot at night when using an electric blanket and it is very uncomfortable.

Wellcare's 4D DWF technology completely solves this problem by creating a warmth flow that provides better warmth, comfort and breathability.

We interviewed a few potential users and below are some of their questions and feedback:

Why are there so many holes in Wellcare's product?

This is the heart of our 4D DWF technology, a dynamic warmth flow is created as heat is released from the holes and merges with cold air. With these holes on the surface of our flexible heating product, it creates a warm air current that feels as natural as breathing.

With this new technology, you will no longer feel hot and stuffy at night!

Users love the soft texture of our fabric

There are 4 types of material available for Wellcare's electric underblanket, and they are:

  • Cozy fleece
  • Baby fleece
  • Comfort fleece
  • Eco fleece

Wellcare's electric blanket materials

Some of the fleece has longer fur and some has shorter fur. All of Wellcare's products are   produced using environmentally friendly materials.

People liked the cozy fleece and baby fleece a lot because it feels very soft and comfortable. They said they feel very relaxed when lying down on these types of material and it also helps them calm their minds. They said this comfortable material will certainly help them get a better night of sleep.

Many people never used an electric blanket before

Although electric blankets have been invented for a long time, we are surprised to see many people are not familiar with this product and have never used it before!

Perhaps this means that the market still has a lot of potential to grow.

When people choose a product, they feel the design and look of the product is important too. People told us that many electric blankets on the market focus on usability, but a lot of them looks ugly. They usually have bad designs or have unpleasant colors.

People loved Wellcare's design, though. They said the color looks very natural and that makes them want to use the product. They also said our electric blanket looks visually pleasing and that increases their willingness to test it out.

Finally, the unique 4D DWF technology attracted many people's eyesight. They are all excited to test this new technology and wants to bring a 4D DWF product home!

Overall, we had a great experience interacting with numerous potential customers during Maison & Objet design fair. We were able to exhibit our newest technology and get a lot of first hand feedback. Almost everyone who came by the booth fell in love with our design and unique 4D Dynamic Warmth Flow (4D DWF) technology!
